As a store leader, I believe customer service skills matter because they build trust and positive relationships with customers. When customers feel welcome and appreciated, they are more likely to return. Even small interactions, like greeting a regular customer or remembering their preferences, can make a difference.
I demonstrate good customer service by listening to customers’ concerns, communicating clearly, and doing my best to resolve issues. I also believe it’s important to remain patient and positive, especially when dealing with frustrated customers. As a manager, I try to set a good example for my employees because the way we treat out customers reflects on the entire business. Good customer service is about more than just making a sale; it’s about making customers feel valued.
